Dan Guillaume

Fellow in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery - 2006

Dan was selected for the fellowship sight unseen. This was the first time a fellow was chosen on references only. Although, somewhat of a gamble, he received very high recommendations from his supervisors in Iowa and from his colleague, Jeremy Greenlee. We were not disappointed. Dan proved to be an excellent fit from the start.

Like his predecessor, Jeremy, Dan was quiet but strong willed and above all a very caring and compassionate doctor. His knowledge and technical skills were good when he joined us but by the conclusion of his fellowship they had improved enormously.

He left us for a position as Assistant Professor in Portland, Oregon and we wish him and his lovely family all the very best in their new home.
